Daniel Toschläger Each track is simply beautiful. It is "linear" Drum & Bass with a 4/4 snare. Most of the times I prefer jungle music with more chaos. But this one is truly good. The Carl Sagan sample is great! The concept to create an atmosphere for each planet is great. I really enjoy it. Good vocals and not too much message. Nowadays often d&b has too much message for my opinion. This takes my to space. The tracks would have fit on the "Lost in space Drum & Bass" or "Atmospheric Drum & Bass" compilations.

zedpiano Alpha Rhythm makes a proper statement with his debut album 'The Planets'. The opening track 'Earth' is easily one of my favourite tracks ever written and sets the stage for an intergalactic journey through our solar system. His collaboration with Natus 'Mars' is one of the greatest sonic journeys I have ever taken, and truly transcends the genre. 'Saturn' is another stand out track to me and is peak Alpha Rhythm. I would write more but there is a character limit. I'll just say.. BUY THIS ALBUM!! Favorite track: Mars.
